Soft Tissue Release with Fascial Cupping Therapy (Dynamic or Stationery Cupping).

Myofascial Cupping Therapy is a centuries-old method of managing medical conditions, based on traditional Asian Medicine. The benefits of modern cupping therapy is to release scar tissue and fascial adhesions, manage trigger points, improve circulation, relieve pain and promote mobility.

Many clinical conditions may benefit from cupping as part of program design to improve functional outcomes.

The negative pressure helps to decompress the area by lifting the skin and the layer of tissue underneath the skin, the fascia, up into the cup. This creates space for the underlying tight muscle to lay down and relax. Cupping also helps bring blood flow to the area in need.

Swedish- Is the most common type of massage. Swedish massage combines various hands-on techniques including gliding, kneading, and friction to break up muscle knots. Light to medium pressure. Good for stress-related conditions and chronic pain. The four common strokes of Swedish massage are:

  1. Effleurage: A smooth, gliding stroke used to relax soft tissue.
  2. Petrissage: The squeezing, rolling, or kneading that follows effleurage.
  3. Friction: Deep, circular movements that cause layers of tissue to rub against each other, helping to increase blood flow and break down scar tissue.
  4. Tapotement: A short, alternating tap done with cupped hands, fingers, or the edge of the hand.

Accupressure- Relieve stress and tension. Relax mind and body. Increase blood circulation. Provide relief from head, neck and shoulder aches. Help the healing of injuries. Increase energy levels and increase overall feeling of well-being.

Body ROM & Stretches- These movements help keep your joints & muscles as healthy as possible by assisting them to full flexion and extension. Additionally, this increases blood flow which will decrease stiffness.

Lymphatic- This is a very light massage that encourages lymph flow in the body. The lymph system carries away excess water, cellular waste, bacteria, viruses and toxins. The end result is reduced swelling, reduced fatigue and detoxification.

Integrated- This is a combination of various massage techniques. Sessions are specifically and uniquely designed for each individual.

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy- Is a type of soft tissue manipulation of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissues). It treats some kinds of chronic pain involving the muscular system. It also balances the nervous system (brain, spinal column and nerves). This type of massage addresses myofascial trigger points.

Chair Massage- Techniques that provide fully-clothed seated massage. It is fast, effective way to release tension and relax body and mind.

Before you can decide which massage style is best for you, ask yourself some questions. Do I simply want a massage for relaxation and stress release? Or do I need help with a certain health condition? While booking a massage, let me know what you are looking for and which therapeutic style you prefer. I use more than one style, or I may customize your massage, depending on your age, health condition, or any special needs or goals you have.

Deep tissue- is similar to Swedish massage but with deeper and ore pressure to help release chronic muscle pain and tension. Most attention is focused on the deeper layers of tendons, fascia, and muscle tissue.

Thank you in advance for considering me. I look forward to developing a lasting and rewarding relationship with you.
